Ethan is my husband's brother and Brenda is Ethan's wife. They travel with us often and this painting is based on a photo I took during a lunch in a Venice, Italy café. Ethan and Brenda drive Ferraris and often are wearing their Ferrari jackets, which is why I chose that photo as a basis for their portrait.

I had open heart surgery in 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic. Brenda and Ethan came with us to the hospital for my surgery and week-long hospitalization afterwards and then accompanied us back to our home in Nashville for some time to help look after me. I painted this portrait as a gift to them to show them my love and appreciation.
